  We were looking for a quiet place, pet friendly, away from the July crowds of Lake Lure to relax and rejuvenate. This cabin fit the bill perfectly! This property is beautiful and the cabin in the woods is about as secluded as you can get. We spent many hours sitting on the porch, listening to the birds and watching the occasional deer or turkey wander by. And enjoyed the afternoon rain storms that rolled through while we stayed dry in the comfy porch chairs. Our dogs loved the walking trails thru the woods and Finley especially loved her swim in the pond. The fenced in area off the backdoor was very convenient for the dogs late night potty breaks. The cabin is perfectly equipped and spotlessly clean. If you are looking to get away from it all, but still be within 20 minutes of civilization, look no further. We look forward to returning. I bet the fall is beautiful in those woods.
